WELCOME TO BONJOURHOLA

Upon starting lessons with Dr. Michele Reis, I had only a simple desire to pass my CSEC and CAPE Spanish and French examinations. However, during the four years I spent with her as my tutor, she ceaselessly took up the baton as both an academic teacher and life mentor, encouraging me to realise my full potential and develop self-confidence in these and many other areas. Her involvement in my academic journey has no price. In fact, her great expertise, drive, and willingness took me from, led me to achieve a place on the CXC Merit List 2024 for CAPE Unit II, ranking fourth in Spanish and sixth in French regionally. My appreciation for language as a sort of “science of speech” has also been bolstered tremendously. Now, I go on with her always in mind as I pursue my tertiary education in this very field: a Bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish.

Michele Reis taught me Spanish for 4 years through CSEC and CAPE. She aided in expanding my vocabulary to incorporate more complex verbs and phrases. She offered advice to improve pronunciation, reading, writing and sentence construction which proved pivotal in securing my additional scholarship.

Beyond that she created a comfortable and enjoyable language learning experience, making studying seem like a hobby.  I have and will recommend language learning with Michelle Reis. ¡Diviértete explorando nuevos idiomas!

Ms. Reis is a supportive and considerate teacher. With her, classes are always something to look forward to and makes learning languages a fun and enjoyable experience. Her teaching aided me in reinforcing what I had learned in school while broadening my understanding of the language, allowing me to write exams with confidence and ease. Lessons with her are a wonderful experience with results to prove it.

Michele, thank you for your love, care and dedication throughout this journey. My daughter started with you in Form 4 and has continued into Form 6. You have been the absolute best, knowledgeable, attentive and compassionate. You've kept us parents informed every step of the way. Being aware of the CXC curriculum and timelines, as well as any issues. The students couldn't ask for a more attentive and caring teacher providing guidance and advice along the way. It feels like we've known each other for a lifetime and I truly appreciate all you've done thus far.
